Baptism
Baptisms are usually celebrated on the first Sunday of the month, and parents and Godparents are required to complete a baptismal class. To have your child baptized and/or to register for class, please email colette@ourladyofwisdom.org 3 months prior to the birth of your child. Click LEARN MORE to read our baptismal guidelines.

First Communion
Preparation for First Holy Communion and First Reconciliation is a two-year program, typically done in first and second grades. Classes begin each year in the fall. If you are a parishioner, you may register your child HERE.

Reconciliation
Students in our First Communion Classes will receive their First Reconciliation in first grade, the year before they receive First Communion.

Regular Confession Times
Sunday: 9-9:50 AM, 5-5:50 PM, 8-8:50 PM
Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 11-11:50 AM
Tuesday, Thursday: 4:30-5:20 PM
Saturday: 8-8:20 AM (1st Saturday of the month only), 3:00-3:50 PM
Confirmation
As per new Diocesan policy, age/grade of Confirmation has been lowered, and Our Lady of Wisdom will be confirming 9-12 grade students this academic year.

The year-round Youth Group is led by a team of Ragin’ Cajun Catholic College Students and provides dynamic teachings and experiences in a casual setting for students grades 7-12.

If you missed getting Confirmed at the ordinary time and would like to receive the Sacrament, please contact the parish office.
