Purpose

The Justice and Service committee helps to reflect God’s essential respect and concern for each person in order to protect the essential human freedoms necessary for all as we are members of the Body of Christ. We strive to nurture in all parishioners a social consciousness and a commitment to a life of justice and service rooted in their faith in Jesus Christ, in the Scriptures, and in Catholic Social teachings. Our ministry helps to establish in human relationships the harmony that produces equity with regards to persons and the common good while addressing the causes of human suffering, service to those in need, pursuit of peace, fairness and equality in the workplace, and the right to defend the life, dignity and rights of all.
