Sacraments & Worship
As Catholics, we recognize that Christ communicates His life and love through the institution of the seven sacraments: Baptism, the Holy Eucharist, Confession, Confirmation, Marriage, Holy Orders, and Anointing of the Sick. To put it simply, we live faith through the life we receive from the sacraments.
Because our most important role is to be a Catholic Compass for students and parishioners, Our Lady of Wisdom serves our community primarily by celebrating the sacraments with them. More information regarding the Sacraments can be found by clicking on the links above.

RCIA
The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults is the process established by the universal Church for individuals to become Catholic and receive the sacraments of initiation: Baptism, Confirmation, and the Eucharist. This initiation process also involves a parish community experiencing a renewal in faith as it prepares and welcomes new members into the Church.
Who is RCIA for?
- Persons in need of Baptism
- Persons baptized in another Christian tradition who desire to become Catholic
- Persons baptized as Catholics but in need of First Communion and/or Confirmation
- Anyone who wants to deepen his or her understanding of the Catholic faith
For more information on the RCIA process, please visit our Become Catholic or contact Juan Pagan, RCIA director – juan@ourladyofwisdom.org.
First Friday Perpetual Adoration
Perpetual Adoration begins each First Friday of the month after noon Mass and continues until the celebration of First Saturday Mass the following morning. Sign up for an hour to adore the Blessed Sacrament. You can find the sign up sheet near the adoration chapel.
