Religious Education
Mission
The Religious Education Committee assists our parishioners and students in increasing their knowledge of the Catholic Faith in order to more fully live it. It assists in the preparation of all who will receive the Sacraments. Within the life of the parish, the Committee also coordinates opportunities for catechesis and education. It seeks to help every member to know more fully our Savior Jesus Christ and His teaching revealed in Sacred Scripture and transmitted through His Church.
Activities
Here at Our Lady of Wisdom, we facilitate religious education through a number of activities, including:
Providing preparation for the Sacraments of:
- Baptism
- First Holy Communion
- Confirmation
- Marriage
- Coordinating opportunities for catechesis and formation
- Promoting vocations to the priesthood and religious life.

There are a number of ways that you can get involved in formation and catechesis here at Wisdom. They include:
- Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (R.C.I.A.)
- Book/Bible Studies
- Advent and Lenten Missions.
