The marriage ministry at Our Lady of Wisdom is focused on helping engaged and married couples live their married lives according to what their Christianity demands of them.  Engaged couples benefit from intensive marriage preparation, and married couples enjoy fellowship, support, and instruction on Church teachings.

Engaged couples at Our Lady of Wisdom participate in programs that are designed prepare them spiritually and mentally for marriage, including meeting with the parish marriage ministry coordinator, Robin Hebert, undergoing an assessment review, and meeting with a parish-approved married couple for six weeks of mentoring.

Married Couples

Robin Hebert, Our Lady of Wisdom’s parish marriage ministry coordinator, is initiating ministries to help married couples grow in faith and commitment to the vows they have already taken.  Couples enjoy dinner and testimonials by participating in “Supper and Substance,” and plans are underway for pot-luck dinners that include teachings from Father Sibley on married life.

“Supper and Substance” is one of Our Lady of Wisdom’s ministries for married couples.   Join us to help you and your spouse grow in holiness and love!

SUPPER

Married couples from the parish gather together to share a sit-down dinner.  The valuable community and support that is built through these dinners can help married couples live out the sacrament of matrimony to its fullest potential.

SUBSTANCE

In addition to socialization, support, and a delicious meal, couples enjoy enlightenment as they listen to testimonials given by another married couple from the parish.
