Central to the mission of Ragin’ Cajun Catholics is to be the presence of the Roman Catholic Church here at UL Lafayette.

Our Mission

Ministry to students lies at the heart of what we do here at Our Lady of Wisdom.  This mission makes us a unique parish! While our parish boundaries automatically include the students and faculty of UL within our membership, we are blessed to have a number of individuals and families in our community who have chosen to make Wisdom their home.   We are very thankful for these members of our parish who have also made the support and service of our students their mission!  This vibrant community offers a unique opportunity for young children to grow up watching college students dive deeply into their faith, while college students can learn a great deal from the example set by these devout families and single adults.
